Learn about Google billing with Spark.
Google billing with Spark lets you pay for apps and digital content from the Google Play Store through your Spark bill.
You can use Google billing with Spark for the following digital content and services on the Google Play Store app and other eligible platforms such as YouTube:
These may be offered as a one-off purchase or on a subscription basis.
All consumer Spark Pay Monthly mobile customers with a device running Android OS version 2.2 (Froyo) and above. You’ll need to have your Spark SIM in your device and the Google Play Store app installed, as Google billing with Spark is unavailable through the Google Play website.
You can add Google billing with Spark by following the steps outlined in the Google Play Store Help centre. Go to Google Play Store Help centre
Google billing with Spark is labelled "Spark" in the Google Play Store app and is set as your default payment method when buying content.
You can spend up to $99.99 (incl GST) in any rolling 30-day period using Google billing with Spark. Spend limits are controlled at an individual line level, so if you have more than one mobile on your account, each eligible mobile will have its own 30-day rolling period and limit of $99.99.
When you make a purchase, a confirmation email with your order information is sent to the Google account you use when making your purchase. You can also see your order history by following the steps outlined in the Google Play Store Help centre. Go to Google Play Store Help centre
Purchases and refunds are listed in the Monthly Charges section of your bill, under the relevant mobile number for the purchase (including a description of the content, date of purchase and value). Understand my Spark bill
To help prevent accidental or unapproved purchases, you can enable password protection. You can also turn on parental controls to restrict what content can be downloaded or purchased.
Once set up, Google billing with Spark is set as your default payment method. You can remove Spark as an available payment method or change to another method by following the instructions in the Google Play Store Help centre. Go to Google Play Store Help centre
