How does it work for you as an existing customer?
Step 1:
Download the Skinny app (or update to the latest version).
Step 2:
Grab your code from the Buddy Rewards tab in the app.
Step 3:
Share the code with your buddies who aren’t already on Skinny!
Important things to know:
- Your buddy needs to join a $17 or above 4-weekly plan.
- Your buddy has 30 days from when they activate their SIM to redeem the code via the Skinny App.
- Once they redeem their code, you’ll get a text confirming your $10 credit reward.
- Your reward can be seen on all self-service channels (such as the app or dashboard) as an increase in your credit balance.
- Your code is valid until the 29th October 2023, and you can share the code with multiple buddies.

How does it work for your buddy (who is new to Skinny)?
Step 1:
Firstly, your buddy needs to get a Skinny SIM or eSIM and activate it.
Step 2:
Then buy a $17 or above 4-weekly plan.
Step 3:
Download the Skinny app.
Step 4:
Get your buddy to enter the redemption code you sent them under the Buddy Rewards redemption card in the app.
Important things to know:
- Your buddy will have 30 days from when they activate their SIM or eSIM to redeem the code you sent them.
- Once the code is redeemed your buddy will see a confirmation of their 4GB bonus data reward in the app. Your buddy will have the bonus data available for 90 days to get them going before it expires.
- Your buddy will also be able to see their reward in all other self-service channels (such as the dashboard) as an increase in their rollover data allowance.
- As a new customer, your buddy can only redeem a Buddy Rewards code once.
