If your phone's in working order, we'll find it a new owner. For phones at the end of their life, we'll recover essential materials for reuse in new devices. Additionally, if you choose not to trade in your phone, you can drop it off at any of our Spark stores for recycling and resale. We partner with recycling programmes such as RE:MOBILE, and all profits support the charity Sustainable Coastlines.

Boost credit offers

During promotional periods, you can get an additional trade-in boost credit on top of your existing trade-in value. This will depend on the phone you trade in and only apply to specific new devices.

You'll receive this as a credit on your Spark account, which you can use to help towards paying off your current plan, or other Spark services.

Here's what you need to trade

  • Your Spark account number.
  • A form of ID.
  • Your current phone to trade
  • Purchase of a new interest free phone within the last 30 days.

  • Trade in eligible phones through a Spark store and get a credit on your Spark account. In store only.
  • Trade-in is available when you purchase a phone from Spark, interest free, on a Spark Pay Monthly mobile plan.
  • You have 30 days from the purchase date of your new phone to trade-in. Max of one trade-in per device purchase. Entelar trade-in terms apply, eligible devices only and minimum device quality required.
  • Trade-in values: Trade-in value based on condition of phone. Values may change periodically.
